What does a daily warehouse inspection cover?

The daily walk covers what changes from day to day: clear traffic routes, the way goods are stored, the condition of forklifts and housekeeping in the loading areas.

Racking checks here are visual — the point is to notice damage, bending or a struck upright and report it, not to replace periodic inspections carried out by suitably qualified people.

The most common warehouse findings

Recurring ones include: goods left in traffic routes, blocked extinguishers and exits, damaged pallets, struck racking uprights and forklifts parked outside designated areas.

The second group is small infrastructure faults: burnt-out lighting, damaged floor surface, illegible zone markings. Individually harmless, they accumulate and keep coming back.
