Hotel room inspection checklist
A sample checklist for inspecting a room after cleaning, before it is released to a guest. It covers cleanliness, the bathroom, linen and towels, amenities, electronics and minor faults.
Floor supervisors, housekeeping managers and reception use it. A short check catches gaps before the guest does.

Move this checklist into Varilo
A paper checklist is only the beginning. In Varilo you can build your own version, assign it to a place, machine, vehicle or device and share it through a QR code or NFC tag.
The employee scans the code with a phone, completes the inspection and the results go straight into the system. You can track completed inspections, findings, reports and statistics without retyping paper forms.

Why inspect a room after cleaning?
The inspection after cleaning is the last moment to catch a gap — an empty dispenser, a blown bulb, a window that will not close. Otherwise the guest finds it, and the cost is very different.
Regular checks also keep one standard across shifts and cleaners, because everyone verifies the same points.
Cleanliness and faults are two different lists
It pays to separate cleaning remarks from technical reports. The first go back to housekeeping, the second to maintenance — mixed in one note, they often get lost.
In practice one inspection works best, but with clearly marked technical points that go straight to the person responsible for repairs.
Room inspection with a QR code or NFC tag
A QR sticker or NFC tag in the room (in the wardrobe or by the door) starts the inspection with a single scan or tap — no looking up the room number in a list.
Results and photos of faults go into the system immediately, and reception sees which rooms are checked and ready to sell.
